I will be relocating from Okinawa, Japan to Valdosta, Georgia. I will be serving the local area so spread the word. I will be ready to go after settling in, sometime in August.
I hate to leave Okinawa. I love this place and my heart will always be here. I am excited about all the newness of a move though, except the unpacking!

Its about that time
Time for Kaptured by Kristi to leave Okinawa.
Sadly....
I don't have any desire to leave but the USAF says otherwise. As of now, we are still unsure of where KBK will go next.
This island has been such a blessing to me and my family and Kaptured. I started here wanting to just get to be recognized and now I am one of the most sought-after photographers on the island.
Its because I have the best customers ever! Customers that are awesome!
I will be working until the end of May and then it will be time to wind down, pack up and start the next chapter. I will post when I know the next location.
So this is your speak now or forever hold your peace blog. If you need a session, I will do my best to get you in before I leave. I want to take care of everyone while I am here!
Remember, some things can not be created, the must be Kaptured!

Recent
I have been so busy with a recovering husband I havent updates this in forever! Here are some examples of what I have been up to though!
A very loyal and great customer. This was towards the end of the session and the youngest boy just wanted to play with his cars.... so we went with it! It turns out to be my favorite "Kaptured" moment from the session!
These two boys are very used to being Kaptured. The oldest isnt fond of my camera but when we can get him interacting with his brother, we can get some REAL smiles! Its been awesome seeing the little one grow. I took maternity photos and then just recently took his 10 month photos.... wont be long before we are having the first birthday session!
Total Chaos, not really. The kids were just having fun and that is the best time to catch them being THEM! I have no idea what all was going on here but the picture turned out to be a family favorite. I would make it a poster on my wall!

Kaptured by Kristi will be at American Village for ballet/dance photos of your girls after the recital in their recital costumes. There are several packages to choose from and no session fee for this event. If you purchase a package I will also give you free digital downloads to share with friends and family. Please contact Kristi at the email below to let me know which session you would like to attend. There are two days with various times set up, WEATHER permitting. If it is raining, the dates will be rescheduled.

Baby Fever
What is the best thing to cure Baby Fever? Play with them and give them back! I don't have baby fever, we are SO done after having my three kids.... and especially after having them all out of the needy stages! But I LOVE playing with babies.
Schedule your newborn appointment today.
The BEST time for new babies is when they are less than a week old. The cuddle more, know how to use arms and legs less and are easier to get to do what we want them to! They sleep a lot and that is good. Bring your baby over, warm, fed and clean diaper and we will have fun.
I have a variety of newborn props and keep adding to my collection. If you have any ideas, feel free to email me and we can try to make it happen. I can also make custom birth announcements for you friends and family, so you can show off that precious baby!
Sessions are $40 session fee and sessions range from 30 minutes to an hour, typically. Some babies need to snack while we are working so I really work on baby time.
Email to book your session today. You can let me know a due date and we can have a tentative appointment scheduled... I know babies come when they are ready!
