Who knew?

What a popular song by Pink! Well the words are so close to my heart, it's like I could have written the song myself. Below are two pictures, featuring to very important guys.

"If someone said three years from now,
you'd be long gone,
I'd stand up and punch them out,
cause they are all wrong."

Sept 2007, within one week, these two guys were suddenly taken from our lives and now the only way we still have them is in our hearts and in our pictures....

The first is a picture of my father and mother in law. They were visiting us in Florida and I suggested we take some beach photos of them. The picture below, could be the photo to go along with my "Some things can not be created, they must be Kaptured." This moment was totally UNposed and they were just sitting there waiting for me to tell them what to do next. She leaned her head and rested it on his... I just clicked and time froze. There is no price that could be put on that moment, on that picture or that memory....

So .... Some things can not be created, they must be Kaptured...

Then, there is sweet little Devon. 2 years old and in the flash of an eye, he was flying with the angels... He was a funny and precious little boy. He spent quite a bit of time with me.
We were working on Christmas pictures for his mom and I got this picture. It's become a favorite for all of his loved ones and again, some things can not be created, they must be Kaptured!

Katie and her boys

I  met Andy, a coach, of a team I was taking photos for. He quickly asked if I did family photos, much to Katie's surprise! He said no one, thus far, would allow their dog to be included in photos. Well dogs are usually just as much a family member than anyone else. Bailey was just that! He completed these photos with such a great family!

A few of my Favorite things

As with anything, there is usually something that is your favorite. I can not choose just one photo above all other that I say is my favorite. There are many so here are a few of them! Enjoy! Hopefully you will see why I can't choose just one...

I just love what I do and hopefully I will have the chance to add you and your family to my collection.

Designer Prints and Birth Announcements

There are many options to my creativity.

These are a few examples if "Designer Prints". These can be made from the photos I take or you can supply other photos from different occasions and I can create something special.

Here are a few examples of my birth announcements.

Labor and Delivery and Hospital pictures

In that moment, why not just take it all in and not worry about the photos? It's so much easier for everyone to enjoy the moment. For that reason, Kaptured can be there... in that moment to take WAY too many pictures of your new little one.
The family and mothers wishes are always observed, with respect for complete modesty. Contact me for the details of this session. Here are a few samples, from labor to the first bath, NICU moments, tender moments between parents to be, its an amazing experience each time I can be there.

My favorite Red Head Patrick

I love this little, ok not so little, guy. He weighed in at a whopping 9 pounds, 6 ounces at birth. He had a head full of read hair and his dad was head over heels the moment he saw his son's chubby face!

The Squid

This child was called squid from the first ultrasound on and it stuck. He is now known as Takeo. This guy gave us a very long wait (32 hours) but he was worth the wait. His dad was so very proud to meet his son!

Baby Miles

Miles decided it was time to come and that he did. I got the call at 2 am, just a few hours before his scheduled 7 am induction. He was born before his induction time, giving us just about 4 hours to get him here. He is a handsome little boy and welcomed by a great family!

Baby Janie

This little over-achiever didn't wait on her due date. I got the frantic call one afternoon - 9 weeks before her due date! What in the world was she in such a rush for.... to give us a few more months to love her pretty, tiny, face! She spent several weeks in the NICU but everything went better than anyone could have ever hoped!
